Nonetheless, most GEP to date bypass people who identify themselves as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Non-Binary, Intersex, andQueer (LGBTIQ); often also failing to address the specificities of people combining several minority-group threads (e.g., foreign women, disabled women, migrant women; a phenomenon defined as “intersectionality” by Crenshaw, 1998). These groups are potentially vulnerable (e.g., disabled women, LGBTIQ). Most RIO do not collect statistics on gender identity of their employees, researchers and students; while intersectional gender groups are still heavily under-represented in RIO. New inclusive GEP tools need to be finely designed to encompass all gender groups. In particular, prevailing stereotypes and cultural norms may stigmatize LGBTIQ people and intersectional gender groups and therefore, new forms of awareness training need to be designed. GEPINC builds on existing GEP tools and draws on partners' earlier experience with Horizon GEP projects and beyond, through the lens of a fully transdisciplinary approach - embracing economics, psychology, anthropology, geography, demography, health, innovation research, law and gender studies. GEPINC activities will be deployed in all branches of knowledge: Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. GEPINC proposes to develop and finely tailor new cutting-edge interventions and activities, which are engines of change, aiming at durably promoting gender diversity and inclusion in R & I, increasing RIO attractivity and productivity, and stimulating diverse research. GEPINC more advanced partners will work hand-in-hand with the lesser advanced ones, to ensure the effective implementation of GEPINC tools and activities, and to durably install, monitor and maintain a sustainable framework for gender inclusiveness.","Start date":"2025-01-01T00:00:00","End date":"2027-12-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Horizon Europe (HORIZON)","Key Action":"HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-11","Call":"HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-11","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"749962,5 EUR","EU Contribution":"749962,5 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"ECOLE D'ECONOMIE DE PARIS - 204 937,50 EURINSTITUTO SUPERIOR DE ECONOMIA E GESTAO - ISEG -92 750,00 EURUNIVERSITATEA STEFAN CEL MARE DIN SUCEAVA - 82 125,00EURUNIVERSITAT DE GIRONA - 93 437,50 EURUNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF IRELAND, DUBLIN - 130 337,50 EURKENTRO MERIMNAS OIKOGENEIAS KAI PAIDIOU -87 812,50 EURMIDDLE EAST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY - 58 562,50 EUR\"","Number of Participants":7},{"_id":2,"Project id":"101112869","Project acronym":"ECHO","Status":"Signed","Title":"Engaging Citizens in soil science: the road to Healthier sOils","Project URL":"https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/contact-form/project/999522339/101112869","Project URL 2":"https://echosoil.eu","Description":"The overall aim of ECHO is to engage EU citizens in soil health increasing their knowledge, by generating new data on the health status of EU soils to complement existing soil mapping and soil monitoring in EU Member States, and awareness on the ecological and societal importance of soils. ECHO is based on 3 main principles: 1) to engage citizens motivating them to protect and restore soils; 2) to empower citizens by providing knowledge and an active role in data collection; 3) to enable citizens to directly participate in decision-making on soil issues. ECHO will achieve this through co-creation with target societal groups as a cornerstone of delivering a step change in increased soil literacy in society across Member States. ECHO will develop tailor-made citizen science initiatives across EU Member States taking into account different land-uses, soil types and biogeographical regions as well as stakeholder needs, overcoming the recognised challenges related to age, culture, background and language (28 initiatives with 16500 sites assessed). Our ambition is to actively involve and engage citizens building the capacities and knowledge to promote soil stewardship across EU and foster social change through trust and improved understanding of soil. ECHO will create ECHOREPO, a long-term open access repository, fed with citizen science data to be exploited not only by scientists but also by the general public and end-users. This will leverage and provide added-value to existing data and other relevant soil monitoring initiatives. ECHO´s consortium consists of 16 participants with 9 leading universities and research centres, 5 SMEs, and 2 Foundations. However, careers in the health and care sector can be physically and mentally taxing by submitting health professionals and carers to psychosocial risks (for example heavy workload, stressful working conditions, risk of exposure to infectious agents, precariousness, ethical stress etc.). Many health professionals and carers also commute to work or have migrated to work in a new country. This adds to the struggle of health and care systems to attract new people to their workforce, but also to maintain the ones already working. A combination of factors such as changes in work organisation, budgetary and administrative pressures faced by health and care systems, systemic shortages of health professionals, precarious working conditions, structural inequalities and leaps in technological innovation may leave health and care workers with feelings of helplessness, physical or mental vulnerability or moral injury. Technological innovations (including digitisation, big data and artificial intelligence applications) provide opportunities for a more efficient provision of health and care services, and for lightening the workload of health and care workers. However, they also create new risks, potentially affecting the mental wellbeing of the workforce. For example, new skills, requirements, new organisational models, performance monitoring by algorithms, lack of control or accountability in workplace decisions, ethical questions, are elements that can increase stress and hamper the ability of health and care workers to function in their jobs on a daily basis. This topic requires the effective contribution of social sciences and humanities (SSH) disciplines and the involvement of SSH experts, institutions as well as the inclusion of relevant SSH expertise, health and care professionals associations and (informal) carers associations, in order to produce meaningful and significant effects enhancing the societal impact of the related research activities. All projects funded under this topic are strongly encouraged to participate in networking and joint activities, as appropriate. Therefore, proposals should include a budget for the attendance to regular joint meetings and may consider covering the costs of any other potential joint activities without the prerequisite to detail concrete joint activities at this stage. The details of these joint activities will be defined during the grant agreement preparation phase. With women making up over 70% of EU health care professionals and employees in the care sector and a great part of informal carers, an appropriate gender approach is essential in research and policy interventions, to prevent or mitigate workplace inequalities and imbalances. Researchers and policymakers should also take into account the inclusion dimension, as a significant share of health professionals or care workers typically come from minority groups, whether through declared or undeclared work. Proposals should consider potential synergies and avoid overlaps with ongoing calls or actions funded under EU or national programmes for example the future cofunded partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS). Proposals are encouraged to take into account, when relevant, the EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work (2021-2027), the report on mental health and most importantly, the recommendations and analysis presented in the Expert Panel on effective ways of investing in health (EXPH) opinion on supporting the mental health of the health workforce and of other essential workers. Forest lands, covered by the regulation on land use, land-use changes and forestry, are expected to contribute to the achievement of Europe's climate ambition for 2030. As shown in the in-depth analysis in support of the “Clean Planet for all” communication, this contribution needs to be increasing to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. This topic aims to increase the science-based knowledge for an efficient implementation of good management practices that ensure the multiple functions of various forest types in Europe and to increase forest carbon stocks in the short-, medium-, and long-term. Proposals will: Contribute to a better understanding of favourable management practices for both soil and vegetation, within-species genetic diversity upon, species selection and rotations to enhance and climate-proof forest carbon stocks (considering both in situ carbon sequestration and carbon storage in long-lived wood products) and sinks, while considering the broad range of other forest values and ecosystem services. Consider the dynamics of the carbon stored in the different pools (above-ground biomass, below-ground biomass, deadwood, litter, soil organic carbon fractions, harvested wood products) under different forest management regimes and at different scales (EU-wide, national, local) to identify possible adaptations to current European models of sustainable forest management, so that the forest-based sector can optimise climate action, and to facilitate the monitoring and reporting of GHG emissions. Improve the integration of European forests, including forest practices, in global and regional climate modelling. Contribute to progress in the certification and authenticity verification of carbon removals that are nature-based (i.e. through forest protection, afforestation and sustainable forest management) or through the forest biomass used for longer-lived and higher-substitution products. Design and monitor the efficacy of forest-based mitigation plans, combining the growing potential of satellite-based remote sensing with surface monitoring. Develop recommendations for up-take in practice, including specifying which silvicultural measures to apply to which types of forest in order to maximise their mitigation potential while ensuring the provision of other ecosystem services, under the current and future climate, while fully respecting ecological principles favourable to biodiversity and soil conservation. Analyse socio-economic aspects of forest-based mitigation strategies, including forest managers’ and users’ perception and factors influencing their decision making such as consumer choices, sectorial integration and international/domestic competition. Improve knowledge on the environmental integrity, the social acceptability and the economic feasibility of forest-based mitigation actions such as afforestation, reforestation, forest restoration, forest protection, sustainable forest management and enhanced wood harvest and use, especially for long-lived products. Yet, as our key challenge, Europe’s forests at present critically undershoot their potential to deliver FES. Climate change will affect future FES supply. Societal demand for FES will be complex, and highly dynamic. Some FES economic values are ill explored. Facing these challenges, INTERCEDE will help to better match future FES supply and demand from Europe’s forests. First, we will project theory-informed yet evidence-based scenarios for future FES supply and demand. Second, as recognized in the EU Forest Strategy, Market-Based Instruments (MBI) can be key in improving tailored incentives and incomes for forest owners to manage their forest for socially optimal FES provision. MBI can thus help aligning FES supply with multidimensional demand. We will comprehensively map and evaluate Europe’s current MBI landscape, adding new rigorous impact evaluations of Payments for Environmental Services (PES) schemes, while also assessing the EU’s Rural Development Programme (RDP) investments from a PES angle. From this, we will develop effective, adaptable and scalable MBI policies. We can only achieve this by systematically connecting research to policy and practice, creating our multi-actor aligned Transdisciplinary Forum as key interface. Our consortium brings together small and medium-sized enterprises assisting forest owners in FES management practices, organisations representing landowners and environmental interests, and researchers who excel in modelling and valuing FES, in the economics of instrument design, and in governance and policy analysis. The consortium will mid-way in the project set up an Accelerator Service for (new or pre-existing) PES and MBI schemes, piloting new designs and MBI business models to boost the development, outcomes and impacts of targeted interventions.Project results are expected to contribute to all of the following outcomes: Improved integrated management concepts with a focus on market-oriented approaches to meet the growing demand for ecosystem services, including carbon removals through carbon farming.Development of decision support and management tools (including digital technologies such as AI, sensors or robotics) that will facilitate the joint delivery of multiple ecosystem services.Increased long-term resilience of forest production and use systems and associated value chains.Improved guidelines on carbon farming and PES (Payment for Ecosystem Services) design and implementation in Europe formulated and implemented.Accelerated uptake of sustainable business models in the primary production sector.Scope:   Forests provide invaluable benefits to people and the planet. They are biodiversity hubs and habitats, vital for climate and water regulation, soil stabilisation and the purification of air and water. Their carbon sequestration and storage capacity make them an important alley in the fight against climate change. Also, forests and the forest-based sector provide multiple socio-economic functions and benefits, including jobs and development possibilities in rural areas. Their role in providing food, medicines and materials and their value for recreation and learning from nature is indispensable for the transition to a circular bioeconomy and a healthy society.However, there is an increasing demand on European forests to provide a high diversity of goods and ecosystem services at the same time. The choice of forest management can produce different outcomes for ecosystem services and productivity in the short and the long-term. Forest owners should consider possible trade-offs and synergies with regards to the multifunctional role of forests, their interaction with climate change and their role for biodiversity. Therefore, there is a need for balanced and integrative approaches to ensure ecosystem services in the long-term and to provide sufficient resources for a sustainable and circular bioeconomy, while at the same time, contributing to GHG emissions reductions and carbon removals to contribute to 2030 and 2050 EU climate targets.This topic addresses new opportunities for primary producers to diversify the income by developing new sustainable business models.Proposals will:Set-up a transdisciplinary forum at the science-policy-society interface to regularly disseminate research results, discuss options for upscaling promising approaches (including technological needs and possible solutions) and collaborate with relevant policy makers, stakeholders and the wider public.Explore the evolving societal demands under changing climate conditions for different forest goods and services in an interdisciplinary and integrative approach to improve the knowledge that will help to balance the demands while safeguarding forest’s capacities to deliver them in the best possible way.Based on previous research results (.e.g., InnoForest[1], Sincere[2], etc.), improve the understanding of ecosystem service interactions at different temporal scales both short-term and long-term and consider relevant social, environmental and economic interdependencies and path dependencies.Identify region and national specific market-driven approaches to create new or reactivate value chains and business models based on co-operation between forest owners, policymakers and users of ecosystem services with a view to develop tailor-made solutions and strengthen interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral cooperation.Select a set of representative European PES cases, including carbon farming cases, with sufficient implementation length and data availability for a holistic impact evaluation.Analyse and compare the data for contextualizing results vis-a-vis the existing literature on PES design and implementation, including carbon farming.Improve existing and develop new business models to determine the value and possible funding of sustainable forest management, including through the valuation of ecosystem services such as biodiversity, non-wood products, carbon sequestration and storage, clean water supply, soil protection, recreation, health amenities etc.; and develop standardized methods for their valuation where needed with the goal to maximise sustainable benefit across ecosystem services.Propose standards for measuring, assessing and valuating ecosystem services in different regional settings, which could lead to more efficient market mechanisms across Europe in support of forest management practices ensuring sustainable use and biodiversity conservation and restoration.Promote and provide advice for the set-up of adequate payment schemes through private and public funding instruments at national and EU-level (including the CAP).The project must implement the multi-actor approach and ensure an adequate involvement of the primary production sector and the wider forest-based value chain.This topic should involve the effective contribution of SSH disciplines.\"","Start date":"2024-01-03T00:00:00","End date":"2028-02-29T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Horizon Europe (HORIZON)","Key Action":"HORIZON.2.6 - Food, Bioeconomy Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment","Call":"HORIZON-CL6-2023-CIRCBIO-01","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"5 999 675,00 EUR","EU Contribution":"5 999 675,00 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"KOBENHAVNS UNIVERSITET - 1 415 500,00 EUR WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY - 482 050,00 EUR EUROPEAN FOREST INSTITUTE - 1 177 625,00 EUR KATHOLIEKE UNIVERSITEIT LEUVEN - 646 250,00 EUR CONSORCI CENTRE DE CIENCIA I TECNOLOGIA FORESTAL DE CATALUNYA - 375 000,00 EUR UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI PADOVA -EUR222 000,00 EUR PROSPEX INSTITUTE - 10 375,00 EUR ETIFOR SRL SOCIETA BENEFIT - 315 750,00 EUR HOCHSCHULE FUR NACHHALTIGE ENTWICKLUNG EBERSWALDE - 380 500,00 EUR UNIVERSITATEA STEFAN CEL MARE DIN SUCEAVA -171 125,00 EUR LAND LIFE COMPANY BV - 138 250,00 EUR ASSOCIATION WWF BULGARIA - 75 750,00 EUR EUROPEAN LANDOWNERS ORGANIZATION -EUR189 500,00 EUR\"","Number of Participants":13},{"_id":6,"Project id":"101162613","Project acronym":"ReCoNnect 3","Status":"Signed","Title":"ReCoNnect 3: Building a Community","Project URL":"","Project URL 2":"","Description":"\"On the urge to reconnect science and research with the public’s curiosity, but also with its needs and priorities, one has to develop an active and continuous dialogue showing mutual respect, understanding and trust between the different communities. That ensures that the research and science are more accessible to pupils and schools, while at the same time creates visibility for researchers and science communicating groups and individuals.\"","Start date":"2024-01-04T00:00:00","End date":"2026-03-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Horizon Europe (HORIZON)","Key Action":"\"HORIZON.1.2 - Marie Skłodowska- Curie Actions (MSCA)\"","Call":"HORIZON-MSCA-2023-CITIZENS-01","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"273 945,63 EUR","EU Contribution":"273 945,63 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE-DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA SI INGINERIE NUCLEARA-HORIA HULUBEI - 46 543,18 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE-DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA PAMANTULUI -EUR33 156,86 INSTITUTUL DE FIZICA ATOMICA - 7 139,36 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA LASERILOR PLASMEI SI RADIATIEI - 28 900,68 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA MATERIALELOR - 8 580,98 EUR INSTITUTUL DE STIINTE SPATIALE - 10 640,39 EUR UNIVERSITATEA BABES BOLYAI - 31 921,20 EUR UNIVERSITATEA DIN BUCURESTI - 60 849,35 EUR UNIVERSITATEA STEFAN CEL MARE DIN SUCEAVA - 25 852,72 EUR INSTYTUT UPRAWY NAWOZENIA I GLEBOZNAWSTWA, PANSTWOWY INSTYTUT BADAWCZY - 20 360,91 273 945,63 EUR\"","Number of Participants":10},{"_id":7,"Project id":"101061680","Project acronym":"ReCoNnect 2","Status":"Signed","Title":"ReCoNnect: Research Communication for active learning","Project URL":"https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/documents/downloadPublic?documentIds=080166e50620708d&appId=PPGMS","Project URL 2":"","Description":"\"Researchers worldwide are struggling nowadays to solve some of the critical issues which pose a threat to our future life on Earth. While everyone heard about the climate change, smart cities, freshwater and ocean pollution, soil degradation which conduct to poor quality of food, or cancer, but most of the time only with respect to disasters or an uncertain future, the researchers are actively involved into identifying practical solutions for all these threats, developing devices and systems to monitor, control and diminish their effect, and to cure people and Earth. These missions will have the chance of becoming effective only by ReCoNnect-ing the researchers to the society, by developing a mutual respect and understanding one needs a will to listen, to be open to the new and to explore. As such, we propose the adoption of a special life strategy, that of continuous and active learning, in which all those involved, scientists, communicators or the general public, are active learners interacting with each other.The consortium is made up from 5 research institutes, the largest and most prestigious in the country, 4 universities, with high scientific expertise but also including journalism faculties and one public scientific body, that have been participating in previous research outreach events and coordinate some of the largest STEM educational networks (teachers and pupils) derived from the European programmes. By organization of 20 NIGHT events yearly, also in rural areas, and a strong involvement of researchers at school along the 2 years project implementation, we are confident in the strengthening of the science communication and educational programs already developed, increasing, meanwhile, the number of researchers involved in outreach activities. These allow us to look to the future with new hopes of an active and cultured society towards solving the humanity issues through science and awareness. Project results are expected to contribute to the following outcomes: For researchers: Enhanced opportunities to interact with citizens and local, regional and national authorities; Improved communication skills and competences to interact with a non-research audience, notably with pupils and students. For organisations:Increased reputation and visibility of participating organisations in terms of hosting excellence research projects towards the general public and possible future students; Researchers’ work made more tangible, concrete, accessible, and thus opening research and science to all; Improved outreach to all audiences, and notably those who do not have an easy access to science and research activities; Better communication of R&I results and activities to society, increased and strengthened opportunities for citizens’ engagement. Scope:The European Researchers' Night takes place every year, on the last Friday of September[1]. It supports events that can last up to two days: they can start on Friday and continue the following day. Pre-events, prior to the main event, and related post-events, such as wrap-up meetings or small-scale follow-up events, can also be organised. It is the occasion for a Europe-wide public and media event for the promotion of research careers, in particular focused on young people and their families. The European Researchers’ Night targets the general public, addressing and attracting people regardless of the level of their scientific background, with a special focus on families, pupils and students, and notably those who do not have easy access to, and thus are less inclined to engage in STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) or research activities. The European Researchers’ Night will also bring researchers to schools to interact with pupils at any time during the project duration. The Researchers at Schools activities will allow researchers and pupils to interact on societal challenges and on the key role of research to address them. Pupils will thus also learn directly about research projects and initiatives related to EU main priorities. Types of activitiesActivities can combine education with entertainment, especially when addressing young audiences. They can take various forms, such as exhibitions, hands-on experiments, science shows, simulations, debates, games, competitions, quizzes, etc. Where appropriate, engagement with educational institutions should be sought in order to encourage formal and informal science education with the aim of improving the scientific knowledge base. This will be particularly relevant for Researchers at Schools activities, which will allow researchers to showcase their work and interact with pupils. Researchers will engage with teachers and pupils on challenges related to climate change, sustainable development, health and other issues related to the European Commission priorities and main orientations, such as the European Green Deal or the EU Research and Innovation Missions. The Researchers at Schools activities should take place throughout the year and should be subject to a dedicated promotion, particularly towards schools. The European Researchers’ Night should be highlighted as a European (and Europe-wide) event, and each proposal should promote the European Union and its impact on citizens’ daily life in the most appropriate way, according to the set-up and the configuration of the event, its location and its activities. Involvement of researchers funded by Horizon Europe or previous Framework Programmes, notably by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, is highly encouraged. The European Researchers’ Night promotes gender balance, diversity and inclusiveness in science in terms of planned activities and researchers involved. The European Commission has defined priorities, notably through the Horizon Europe Missions, which aim to tackle challenges faced by our societies. or the 2022 call, applicants are encouraged to focus on, and include activities relating to, priorities identified by the Missions in their events. Partnerships and coordination at regional, national or cross-border levels will be strongly encouraged aiming at a good geographical spread and avoiding overlaps. Activities carried-out in non-associated third countries are not eligible for funding. Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals covering two successive editions (2022 and 2023) of the European Researcher’s Night. High-quality applications not retained due to lack of funding may be granted the status of associated events. Eligible costs will take the form of lump sum contributions as stipulated in Decision of 11 March 2021 authorising the use of lump sum contributions and unit contributions for Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions under the Horizon Europe Programme.\"","Start date":"2022-01-05T00:00:00","End date":"2024-04-30T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Horizon Europe (HORIZON)","Key Action":"HORIZON.1.2 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)","Call":"HORIZON-MSCA-2022-CITIZENS-01","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"301 100,00 EUR","EU Contribution":"301 100,00 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE-DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA SI INGINERIE NUCLEARA-HORIA HULUBEI - 49 500,00 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE-DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA PAMANTULUI - 34 200,00 EUR INSTITUTUL DE FIZICA ATOMICA - 7 100,00 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA LASERILOR PLASMEI SI RADIATIEI - 24 500,00 EUR INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE DEZVOLTARE PENTRU FIZICA MATERIALELOR - 21 700,00 EUR INSTITUTUL DE STIINTE SPATIALE - 10 800,00 EUR UNIVERSITATEA BABES BOLYAI - 47 800,00 EUR UNIVERSITATEA DIN BUCURESTI - 44 700,00 EUR UNIVERSITATEA STEFAN CEL MARE DIN SUCEAVA - 30 100,00 EUR INSTYTUT UPRAWY NAWOZENIA I GLEBOZNAWSTWA, PANSTWOWY INSTYTUT BADAWCZY -30 700,00 EUR\"","Number of Participants":10},{"_id":8,"Project id":"101081177","Project acronym":"WILDCARD","Status":"Signed","Title":"EFFECTS OF REWILDING IN FORESTS AND AGRICULTURAL LANDS ON CARBON SEQUESTRATION AND DIVERSITY","Project URL":"https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/documents/downloadPublic?documentIds=080166e50be15088&appId=PPGMS","Project URL 2":"","Description":"\"Project results are expected to contribute to some of the following expected outcomes: Contribution to IPBES and IPCC, to the achievement of objectives of reaching net zero carbon emissions, enhancing climate change adaptation, and to the EU Biodiversity Strategy. Support the implementation of the Horizon Europe Mission on Adaptation to climate change including societal transformation. Identify low cost/benefit ratio options to restore natural and semi-natural ecosystems for carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation. Assess the value of restoring ecosystem for adaptation to and/or mitigation of climate change and identify potential rebound effects and trade-offs. Demonstrate the degree to which these approaches are affected by climate change itself and if they can still be effective under global warming of 2°C and higher. Demonstrate the potential contribution of European abandoned land and protected areas systems for carbon sequestration, adaptation to and/or mitigation of climate change. Develop strategies to minimize the increasing risk of wildfires due to the changing climate. Provide operational methods for low cost, low human intervention options for ecosystems restoration optimising the contributions to climate and biodiversity objectives and managing trade-offs. Help generate FAIR[1]data and well-documented, robust and transparent methodologies for better integration of land-use management systems into IAMs and ESMs. Assess the perception and acceptability of citizens and stakeholders on rewilding and rewilding options and identify potential conflicts and trade-offs in governance and decision-making. Scope: The biodiversity crisis and the climate crisis are intrinsically linked and the contribution of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) to the global climate objectives is pivotal. A better understanding of how the use of ecosystems natural capacity, with minimal help from humans, can contribute to carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation is urgently needed to make the use of NBS operational. Actions should foster interdisciplinary research with a focus on the climate-biodiversity nexus, advancing our knowledge to further promote integrated approaches to better address these interdependent challenges. Actions, taking stock of previous and ongoing experience, including associated uncertainty, should provide a robust assessment of the potential contribution that restoring ecosystems, including trophic chains restoration, with a “let nature do the job”, also called “rewilding”, approach can provide in terms of carbon sequestration and storage, climate change mitigation and adaptation and biodiversity conservation. “Rewilding” is meant here as passive management of ecological succession with the goal of restoring natural ecosystem processes and reducing human control of landscapes, although some intervention may be required in the early restoration stages. Actions can address specific ecosystems and/or landscapes on land, freshwater, coastal and marine ecosystems while providing a clear contribution to define the potential use of the “rewilding” approach at regional, national and continental levels. Actions should build on an updated and detailed picture of the status and trends of ecosystems change, (including, where applicable, land abandonment) in Europe to assess where, at which ecological conditions and at what scale the “rewilding” approach can significantly improve carbon sequestration together with habitats reinforcement and biodiversity conservation. Actions should investigate how “rewilding” can be complemented with other approaches (for example active restoration and conservation, low intensity farming, forestry and pasture management, fishing), taking into account specific regional conditions, to increase carbon sequestration, improve biodiversity conservation and ensure provision of goods and ecosystem services. Actions should provide scientific insights, tools, methodologies and innovative solutions including social innovations to assist national governments, regions and communities in embedding the “rewilding” approach, as far as feasible, in their own plans to reach carbon neutrality. Actions should also advance the integration of land use options for carbon sequestration into IAMs and ESMs. Actions should significantly advance knowledge on the role and relevance of restoring fully functional trophic chains, for instance through the conservation, management and reintroduction of apex predators, grazers and scavengers, in the “rewilding” process, with a special focus on the functioning of trophic cascades on landscape processes and the ability of ecosystems to act as carbon sinks. Challenges and barriers to this aim should be analysed and the involvement of Social Sciences and Humanities is recommended. Actions should ensure appropriate multi-stakeholder collaboration and interdisciplinarity to embed socio-economic aspects, including opportunities for economic development, existing barriers (ecological, social, gender-related…) and potential synergies and drawbacks. Actions should envisage clustering activities with other relevant actions, initiatives and programmes, including Horizon 2020 and the LIFE Programme to promote synergies, integration and co-operation. They should make use and contribute to knowledge exchange and networking European platforms (e.g. Climate-ADAPT, Network Nature, OPPLA, BiodivERsA). Cooperation and planning for further exploitation of actions results during and after the project end is strongly encouraged. Synergies should be ensured with projects addressing wildfires (for example under the EU Green Deal call LC-GD-1-1-2020, Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5). This topic requires the effective contribution of SSH disciplines and the involvement of SSH experts, institutions as well as the inclusion of relevant SSH and gender expertise, in order to produce meaningful and significant effects enhancing the societal impact of the related research activities. Social innovation is recommended when the solution is at the socio-technical interface and requires social change, new social practices, social ownership or market uptake.\"","Start date":"2024-01-01T00:00:00","End date":"2027-12-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Horizon Europe (HORIZON)","Key Action":"HORIZON.2.5 - Climate, Energy and Mobility","Call":"HORIZON-CL5-2022-D1-02","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"8 946 199,75 EUR","EU Contribution":"8 946 199,75 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI UDINE - 881 610,00 EURECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAET MUENCHEN - 288 246,00 EUREUROPEAN FOREST INSTITUTE - 931 787,50 EURSTICHTING VU -779 750,00 EURINSTITUT PO BIORAZNOOBRAZIE I EKOSISTEMNI IZSLEDVANIYA BALGARSKA AKADEMIYA NA NAUKITE - 186 125,00 EUREIGEN VERMOGEN VAN HET INSTITUUT VOOR NATUUR- EN BOSONDERZOEK - 713 437,50 EURUNIVERSITATEA STEFAN CEL MARE DIN SUCEAVA - 304 375,00 EURVYZKUMNY USTAV PRO KRAJINU, V.V.I. - 926 562,50 EURFORSTLICHE VERSUCHS- UND FORSCHUNGSANSTALT BADEN-WUERTTEMBERG - 1 140 125,00 EURPROSPEX INSTITUTE - 772 875,00 EURSTICHTING WAGENINGEN RESEARCH - 556 500,00 EURNORDWESTDEUTSCHE FORSTLICHE VERSUCHSANSTALT - 500 823,75 EURUNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI TORINO - 438 825,00 EURUNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI PADOVA - 297 520,00 EURJIHOCESKA UNIVERZITA V CESKYCH BUDEJOVICICH - 227 637,50 EUR\"","Number of Participants":15},{"_id":9,"Project id":"2019-1-RO01-KA103-061894","Project acronym":"Erasmus+","Status":"Signed","Title":"Erasmus+ KA1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals","Project URL":"https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2019-1-RO01-KA103-061894","Project URL 2":"","Description":"This is a higher education student and staff mobility project.","Start date":"2019-01-06T00:00:00","End date":"2022-05-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"\"Learning  Mobility of Individuals\"","Call":"ERASMUS-EDU-2022-PI-ALL-INNO-EDU-ENTERP","Role of University":"Beneficiary","Total cost of project":"460,084 EUR","EU Contribution":"460,084 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"","Number of Participants":1},{"_id":10,"Project id":"2019-1-RO01-KA107-062234","Project acronym":"Erasmus+","Status":"Signed","Title":"Erasmus+ KA1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals","Project URL":"https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2019-1-RO01-KA107-062234","Project URL 2":"","Description":"This is a project for higher education student and staff mobility between Programme Countries and Partner Countries.","Start date":"2019-01-08T00:00:00","End date":"2022-07-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"\"Learning  Mobility of Individuals\"","Call":"ERASMUS-EDU-2022-PI-ALL-INNO-EDU-ENTERP","Role of University":"Beneficiary","Total cost of project":"177,971 EUR","EU Contribution":"177,971 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"","Number of Participants":1},{"_id":11,"Project id":"2019-1-RO01-KA204-063804","Project acronym":"Erasmus+","Status":"Signed","Title":"INnovation Capacity building foR EnhAncing Sustainable growth and Employability","Project URL":"https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2019-1-RO01-KA204-063804","Project URL 2":"","Description":"\"INCREASE addresses the growing challenges of automation and innovation that SMEs are facing. European adult education organisations were directly affected by the crisis, since most of them were relying on traditional methods and practices. Most of these adult educations were unprepared and struggled to provide digital education and to retain learners and ensure educational continuity. Consequently, all project partner organisations revisited their organisational digital provision and digital learning strategies during the pandemic to critically analyze the gaps in ICT provision, employee and learner training and support and peer-learning opportunities to ensure a stronger overall contingency plan is in place in the event of a second wave or a similar crisis in the future. Met-AE supports digital transformation strategy of adult-education institutions by increasing capacity and readiness not only of the institutions, but also of their learners, by providing learners, teachers and adult education centre managers with the metacognitive skills and knowledge to manage an effective shift towards digital education and autonomous lifelong learning. Objectives: Met-AE aimed to create a clear and direct upskilling pathway for vulnerable and low-skilled adult learners, to improve their accessibility to uncommon, yet very important skills and ultimately to support the increase in take-up of adult education through the ability of adults with a low level of skills, knowledge, and competences to successfully complete adult education courses and qualifications. The project also aimed to improve mentoring and guidance skills of adult training organizations and adult educators to ensure that their adult learners are equipped with relevant learning capacity throughout life with their metacognitive skills. Met-AE project results provide resources, training and support to provide effective outreach, guidance and motivation strategies to adult learners.\"","Start date":"2022-01-01T00:00:00","End date":"2023-12-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"Partnerships for cooperation and exchanges of practices","Call":"KA220-ADU","Role of University":"Coordinator","Total cost of project":"212.836,00 EUR","EU Contribution":"212.836,00 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"Ștefan cel Mare Univresity of Suceava Asociatia de Dezvoltare Economico-Sociala ???????? By 2023, the project sought to create a new curriculum, enhancing the skills of over 800 adults, focusing on inclusive community development through gastronomy heritage tourism. Specific objectives included improving competences of 800 adults in 2023 from rural areas, providing courses in basic digital skills, entrepreneurship, legal frameworks, and digital marketing. Support for 400 women in poor rural communities aimed to transform traditional cooking practices into sustainable tourism businesses, fostering connections between communities and the private sector by 2023. The initiative also aimed to support eight local tourism environments by creating a 2023 training kit for over 80 stakeholders. This kit focused on tailored education, skills development, and training for adults in deprived rural areas. It emphasized inclusive community development through tourism promotion and evaluating human resources within communities. The goal was to empower communities for better resource and business management opportunities. The project was carried out over a span of 24 months, organized and executed following a work breakdown structure with a set of six content-related work packages (WPs) clustered into three phases: PHASE 1 - MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK The objective of this phase was to create a management, coordination, and assessment system ensuring the project's proper functioning and the achievement of established objectives. It aimed to leverage new technologies to enhance management quality and efficiency. NERDA coordinated the project management activity throughout its lifecycle, covering processes such as scope, time, cost, human resources, quality, communication, procurement, risk, and stakeholder management. WP1 - Project Management, coordinated by NERDA, included initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing processes. It encompassed the development of the Project Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Dissemination and Sustainability Plan and Impact Evaluation from the project's outset. Four transnational meetings and ten online meetings were organized during the project, documented with minutes and photos. PHASE 2 - METHODOLOGICAL & TECHNICAL FRAMEWORK WP2 - EUROCREA/Falco&Associati developed the methodology for research, training material development, and testing activities for IO1, IO2, and IO3. It followed the elaboration of the study: \"\"White Paper on GASTRONOMY CULTURAL HERITAGE AND TOURISM DIGITAL MARKETING,\"\" coordinated by the University Stefan cel Mare, focusing on future trends in adults' needed skills in rural areas. WP3 - Development, validation, and evaluation of New Training Materials were coordinated by NERDA. This included O2 - Training COURSE - FLAVOURS OF EUROPE - Digitalisation of Rural Gastronomic Cultural Heritage in Europe, coordinated by NERDA, and specific handbooks and toolkits from various partners. WP4 - Development of LMS Platform (Educational E-learning) FLAVOURS OF EUROPE was coordinated by BUDAKOV FILMS. WP5 - Testing of the Educational E-learning Platform: FLAVOURS OF EUROPE was coordinated by EBS, including a survey with a minimum of 50 tourism stakeholders/partners for the first phase of testing IO1-IO3. C1 involved the execution of a Short-term Joint Staff Training on the Educational E-learning Platform, organized by EBS in collaboration with BUDAKOV. E1-E8 focused on testing the Educational E-learning Platform, coordinated by the University Stefan cel Mare, organizing 8 multiplication events to disseminate the project results and apply a second phase of testing the quality and content of results obtained during IO1-IO3. WP6 - Dissemination and Communication were coordinated by Association Incoming Romania, including the organization of the Final Conference - FLAVOURS OF EUROPE - by NERDA, with a minimum of 50 participants. PHASE 3 - DISSEMINATION AND COMMUNICATION This phase supported the other phases in gathering necessary knowledge and spreading project results. Alongside dissemination activities, a sustainable (exploitation) plan was designed to ensure the future of the created training course. The objective was to transfer project results, and an exploitation plan was elaborated, defining different possibilities to exploit the results and ensure their sustainability. The project spans 24 months, organized into three phases. Phase 1 focuses on establishing a management framework, including project management, coordination, and assessment systems. Phase 2 involves the development of research methodology, training materials, and an educational e-learning platform. Phase 3 emphasizes dissemination, communication, and the creation of a sustainable plan for future project outcomes. Noteworthy components include transnational meetings, handbooks, training courses, testing activities, and a final conference. The ultimate goal is to ensure the project's success, impact and sustainability.\"","Start date":"2022-01-01T00:00:00","End date":"2023-12-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"Partnerships for cooperation and exchanges of practices","Call":"","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"262651 EUR","EU Contribution":"262651 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"\"Agentia pentru Dezvoltare Regionala Nord-Est \"\"BUDAKOV FILMS\"\" EOOD ???????? Education, training, youth and sport are key areas that support citizens in their personal and professional development. High quality, inclusive education and training, as well as informal and non-formal learning, ultimately equip young people and participants of all ages with the qualifications and skills needed for their meaningful participation in democratic society, intercultural understanding and the successful transition to the labour market. Building on the success of the programme in the 2014-2020 period, Erasmus+ strengthens its efforts to increase the number of opportunities offered to even more participants and to a wider range of organisations, focusing on the qualitative impact of the Programme and contributing to more inclusive and cohesive, greener and digitally fit societies. European citizens need to be better equipped with the knowledge, skills and competences necessary in a dynamically changing society that is increasingly mobile, multicultural and digital. Spending time in another country to study, to learn and to work should become the standard, and the opportunity to learn two other languages in addition to one's mother tongue should be offered to everyone. The Programme is a key component supporting the objectives of the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027, the European Union Youth Strategy and the European Union Work Plan for Sport (2024-27). As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown, access to education is proving, more than ever, to be essential to ensuring swift recovery from crises, while promoting equal opportunities for all. As part of this recovery process, the Erasmus+ programme takes its inclusive dimension to a new horizon by supporting opportunities for personal, socio-educational and professional development of people in Europe and beyond, with the aim of leaving no-one behind. To increase the qualitative impact of its actions and ensure equal opportunities, the Programme will reach out more and better to people of different ages and from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds. It is at the heart of the Programme to come closer to those with fewer opportunities, including people with disabilities and migrants, as well as European Union citizens living in remote areas or facing socio-economic difficulties. In doing so, the Programme will also encourage its participants, young people in particular, to engage and learn to participate in civic society, raising awareness about European Union common values. In 2025, the Programme will also continue the effort to mitigate the socio-economic and educational consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, including by supporting projects that promote educational activities and facilitate the integration of people fleeing the war in Ukraine into their new learning environments, as well as activities supporting organisations, learners and staff in Ukraine. Furthermore, in line with the objectives of the new European Innovation Agenda on supporting talent development for boosting Europe’s innovation capacity, developing digital skills and competences and skills in forward-looking fields, such as combating climate change, clean energy, artificial intelligence, robotics, and big data analysis, is essential for Europe's future sustainable growth and cohesion. The Programme can make a meaningful contribution by stimulating innovation and bridging Europe's knowledge, skills and competences gap. EU businesses need to become more competitive through talent and innovation. This investment in knowledge, skills, and competences will benefit individuals, institutions, organisations, and society as a whole by contributing to sustainable growth and ensuring equity, prosperity and social inclusion in Europe and beyond. Another challenge relates to the Europe-wide trends of limited participation in democratic life and low levels of knowledge and awareness about European matters, as well as their impact on the lives of all European citizens. Many people are reluctant or face difficulties in actively engaging and participating in their communities or in the European Union's political and social life. Strengthening European identity and the participation of young people in democratic processes is of paramount importance for the European Union's future. This objective can also be achieved through non-formal learning activities, which aim to enhance the skills and competences of young people and adult learners, as well as their active citizenship. The programme can contribute to enhance the development of social and intercultural competences, critical thinking and media literacy, and thus to prevent and counter disinformation and fake news. In line with the European Union’s priorities in making its economy sustainable, Erasmus+ projects should be designed in an eco-friendly manner and should incorporate green practices in all facets. Organisations and participants involved should have an environment-friendly approach when designing their projects, which will encourage them to discuss and learn about environmental issues, make them think about what can be done to make projects more sustainable on their level, and help them come up with greener ways of implementing their activities. Supporting and facilitating the transnational and international cooperation between organisations in the fields of education, training, youth and sport is essential to empowering people with more key competences, reducing early school leaving and recognising competences acquired through formal, informal and non-formal learning. It facilitates the circulation of ideas, the transmission of best practices and expertise and the development of digital capabilities. This contributes to a high-quality education while strengthening social cohesion.\"","Start date":"2023-01-08T00:00:00","End date":"2026-07-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"\"Learning  Mobility of Individuals\"","Call":"ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PI-ALL-INNO-EDU-ENTERP","Role of University":"Beneficiary","Total cost of project":"182.279,00 EUR","EU Contribution":"182.279,00 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"","Number of Participants":1},{"_id":21,"Project id":"2024-1-RO01-KA171-HED-000210866","Project acronym":"Erasmus+","Status":"Signed","Title":"Mobility of higher education students and staff supported by external policy funds (KA171-HED)","Project URL":"https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2024-1-RO01-KA171-HED-000210866","Project URL 2":"","Description":"This action supports physical and blended mobility of higher education students and staff from/to third countries not associated to Erasmus+. To facilitate the success of inclusion as an approach and philosophy, it is important that all class members as well as their teachers develop the skills to understand each other, and to communicate and work together effectively. EduCardia is offering an assessment methodology, focusing on assessing and improving socio-emotional competencies of students in primary and secondary educational level. EduCardia tackles both the development of the appropriate social and emotional learning (SEL) material and the development of an online tool (software), enabling teachers to efficiently apply assessment processes within their classrooms and track the development of socioemotional competencies of students. The main distinguishing point in EduCardia compared to various SEL-oriented activities is that it focuses on the assessment part and the provision of methodologies and tools to facilitate teachers to apply this part within classrooms. Although there is a lot of SEL material available, few methodologies and tools are provided for the assessment part.The main objectives of EduCardia are:Objective #1: To develop and validate an assessment methodology for training teachers on SEL teaching strategies and on techniques to assess the socio-emotional competencies of students.Objective #2: To make clear and self-explainable the interpretation of Emotional Intelligence (EI) constructs and models by teachers. This will be achieved through (i) the release of a revised version of the open-access EmoSocio EI model, and (ii) the preparation of the associated SEL training material for teachers.Objective #3: To facilitate teachers to apply the proposed pedagogical methodology in a wide scale and with low entry barriers, based on the development and the release of an open-source psychometric toolkit and the development of a set of in-person and online SEL activities.Objective #4: To evaluate the performance of the application of the proposed methodology and to provide documentation with the main lessons learnt, through a set of application scenarios in primary and secondary schools.Objective #5: To disseminate and communicate the results of EduCardia in the Erasmus+ platforms, as well as in the wide network of the EduCardia partners, enabling their adoption by interested parties.ResultsPR1 - Specification of the EduCardia assessment methodology: the EduCardia assessment methodology has been specified.PR2 – Release of the EmoSocio EI Model, Ontology and Inventory: the EmoSocio EI Model, Ontology and Inventory are specified. Three versions of the EmoSocio EI Model are made available.PR3 – Development of SEL training material for teachers: the structure and the content of the SEL training material for teachers is developed and made available as open-access material.PR4 – In-person and online activities development and provision through a digital repository: a set of in-person and online activities are developed and made openly available through the developed EduCardia SEL activities digital repository.PR5 – Release of the open-source psychometric toolkit (EmoSociograms) and the relevant documentation: the open-source EmoSociograms psychometric tool has been released along with its documentation.PR6 – Documentation of evaluation results, lessons learnt and success stories: a wide set of evaluation results is made available based on the application of the EduCardia methodology in schools in Greece, Spain, Romania and Cyprus. Lessons learnt, success stories and recommendations for the future are documented.\"","Start date":"2022-02-28T00:00:00","End date":"2025-02-27T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"Cooperation partnerships in school education","Call":"Erasmus+ 2021 Call – KA220‑SCH","Role of University":"Participant","Total cost of project":"392267,82  EUR","EU Contribution":"392267,82  EUR","EcContribution per partner":"","Number of Participants":4},{"_id":27,"Project id":"2021-2-FI01-KA210-VET-000049083","Project acronym":"Erasmus+","Status":"Signed","Title":"SFM VR - Sustainable Forest Management Through Virtual Reality","Project URL":"https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2021-2-FI01-KA210-VET-000049083","Project URL 2":"","Description":"\"The project aimed to achieve a number of results that can benefit sustainable forest management across Europe. CREDinGREEN wanted to use this opportunity to better communicate the objectives of the Green Deal, raise awareness among tourism managers and accelerate the strategic and operational implementation of the green transition in the sector. Online learning and flexible teaching methods played an important role in meeting the needs of the main target group, whose heavy workloads make it difficult to participate in traditional training. The project achieves this through strong partnerships, cross-border collaboration, leveraging European platforms, developing relevant curricula, and influencing educational policies.IDEATE will establish networks and communities of practice at local, national, and transnational levels, involving a broad range of stakeholders such as providers of initial teacher education, continuing professional development, teacher associations, school inspectorates, and educational centres. This approach will ensure comprehensive initial training and continuous professional development for educators, with a specific focus on managing diverse classrooms, implementing inclusive education strategies, and enhancing digital skills.Innovative digital tools will be developed and utilised to significantly enhance the teaching and learning experiences for the target groups. By equipping educators with the skills to effectively support diverse and neurodivergent students, the project addresses a crucial educational need and enriches the teaching profession by broadening educators’ skillsets and elevating their professional profiles. This dual impact is essential for education systems striving to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences while attracting and retaining top-tier teaching professionals.IDEATE further aligns with the Erasmus+ programme by enhancing the European dimension and internationalisation of teacher education. The project will deploy physical mobilities for training sessions, summer schools, and workshops, as well as virtual mobilities to engage pre-service and in-service teachers in international learning experiences focused on inclusion, digitalisation, and personal competencies, while fostering a sense of community and collaboration.ObjectivesO1. Enhance capacities for inclusive education: Our initiative seeks to fortify the competencies of teachers to address the educational needs of diverse learners, particularly targeting neurodivergent individuals. This endeavour resonates with the 2019 Council Resolution on further developing the European Education Area and its focus on fostering inclusion and diversity within educational frameworks. Our project aims to design and offer a comprehensive training course specifically tailored for both pre-service and in-service educators on inclusive education practices. This course, developed in WP2 and delivered in both WP4 and WP5 will focus on equipping educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach neurodivergent students along with other diverse learners and to facilitate inclusion for diverse students. Through a combination of theoretical learning, practical workshops, and collaborative projects, the course will address the current gaps in traditional teacher education programs regarding inclusion.O2. Facilitate mobility for cross-campus collaboration and best practices exchange. In addition to developing a specialised training course on inclusive education, our project aims to establish a mobility framework that enables both pre-service and in-service educators to engage in cross-campus collaborations. This mobility initiative will facilitate the exchange of best practices, ideas, and resources among educators from diverse educational institutions across Europe. By participating in this program, educators will gain firsthand experience from different inclusive educational settings, enhancing their understanding and implementation of effective teaching strategies for neurodivergent and diverse learners. The objective is to foster a dynamic educational network that not only promotes professional growth and innovation but also strengthens the overall quality of inclusive education through shared knowledge and cooperative learning. Constructing a collaborative network among teaching professionals and educational institutions across Europe enhances best practice exchanges and reinforces a pan-European approach in teacher education. This is in direct response to the call for greater cooperation and coherence among member states’ educational systems.O3. Digital transformation and readiness: integrating advanced digital tools and methodologies to enhance inclusive education practices – Our project strategically incorporates the latest digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies to significantly enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of inclusive education. The digital tools developed within the project to facilitate and enhance the teachers’ training experience have innovative features, such as adaptive learning, gamification, community hub enabling AI-mediated discussions for moderation and Q&A.Furthermore, the project will provide training for educators on how to effectively utilise these digital resources to not only improve their teaching practices but also to foster an inclusive classroom that stimulates and supports all learners in achieving their educational goals. This commitment to digital readiness ensures that our educational approach remains agile, responsive, and aligned with the evolving technological landscape, thereby preparing educators and students alike for a digitised future in education.O4: personal empowerment for teachers by enhancing their self-efficacy in inclusive education, fostering their well-being, and promoting their professional and personal development. (WP5) This objective aims to provide both pre-service and in-service teachers with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to effectively include diverse learners in their classrooms, while also prioritising their mental and emotional health and facilitating their continuous professional growth and personal fulfilment. Beyond acquiring valuable knowledge and skills, project participation will foster the development of transversal competencies in participants. These competencies include foreign language skills, intercultural communication, personal growth, and the ability to build relationships and networks.\"","Start date":"2025-01-04T00:00:00","End date":"2028-03-31T00:00:00","Organisation name":"UNIVERSITATEA „ȘTEFAN CEL MARE” DIN SUCEAVA","Organisation name ENG":"ŞTEFAN CEL MARE UNIVERSITY OF SUCEAVA","Organisation ID":999522339,"Vat Number organisation":"RO37821331","Organisation country":"RO","Geographical coordinates Organisation":"47.64130862396846, 26.244294759117203","Organization URL":"https://usv.ro/","Programme":"Erasmus+","Key Action":"\"Partnerships for Excellence – Erasmus+ Teacher Academies(under the Erasmus+ 2024 Call: ERASMUS-EDU-2024-PEX-TEACH-ACA)\"","Call":"Erasmus+ Teacher Academies","Role of University":"Coordinator","Total cost of project":"1.438.400 EUR","EU Contribution":"1.438.400 EUR","EcContribution per partner":"","Number of Participants":10}], "fields": [{"id": "_id", "type": "int"}, {"id": "Project id", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Project acronym", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Status", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Title", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Project URL", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Project URL 2", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Description", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Start date", "type": "timestamp"}, {"id": "End date", "type": "timestamp"}, {"id": "Organisation name", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Organisation name ENG", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Organisation ID", "type": "numeric"}, {"id": "Vat Number organisation", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Organisation country", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Geographical coordinates Organisation", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Organization URL", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Programme", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Key Action", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Call", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Role of University", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Total cost of project", "type": "text"}, {"id": "EU Contribution", "type": "text"}, {"id": "EcContribution per partner", "type": "text"}, {"id": "Number of Participants", "type": "numeric"}], "_links": {"start": "/api/3/action/datastore_search?resource_id=e0ac3760-86ae-45f8-bff9-4748ca99b733", "next": "/api/3/action/datastore_search?resource_id=e0ac3760-86ae-45f8-bff9-4748ca99b733&offset=100"}, "total": 34, "total_was_estimated": false}}
